Applications are now open for the Region 21 2023 Leadership Course. The eight one-to-two-hour sessions will educate and inspire. If you are or want to be a regional or chorus leader, this series of monthly Zoom classes is for you. Space is limited and graduates of the course will be recognized during the Region 21 Contest and Convention in 2024. The Region is presenting the course at no cost to the participants. We have been motivated to offer the course after working with Paula Davis, Sweet Adelines International Past President and architect of the series that is now ongoing in Region 13. Paula has generously assisted with advice and course content and has bridged our communication with many of the presenters that will teach our series. She will kick off the Region 21 course in February 2023.
Paula sends us this comment. “I’m looking forward to sharing some time with you as you begin or continue this incredible journey of leadership development. In our time together, we’ll examine the strength of leadership so often seen in Sweet Adelines - a leadership focused on serving and lifting up others. We will also explore some of the basic tenets of strong leadership as we set the stage for your next steps in leadership. See you soon!"
Our leadership teams have room for many people who are willing to contribute their unique talents to the challenges presented in keeping our choruses and regional governments running smoothly. This course will teach the vital skills needed to form the powerful teams needed to keep us moving forward. These skills translate in many ways to everyday life.
