Vocal Connection was started in January 2021, (in the midst of the pandemic!) by four women with over 87 years of collective Sweet Adeline experience. The founding members expertise includes directing, choreography, leadership at both the chorus and Regional levels, plus experience on the international stage in choruses and quartets.

Vocal Connection's goal is to allow our music to connect us as singers, while simultaneously connecting with the broader community through performances and community outreach.

Starting a chorus has been a positive experience for Vocal Connection. Our strength has been “having a team that works well together, has a common vision, and is willing to jump in and do what needs to be done. We have surrounded ourselves with a team of people who have similar goals and also have the passion and drive to achieve them!”

RECENT PERFORMANCE

Leslie Dalton

Director

Leslie Dalton became a Sweet Adeline in January of 1997. She directed the San Francisco Chorus in Region 12 from July of 1999 thru July 2009 and became a Certified Director in October of 2002. As a baritone, she sang with the San Francisco Chorus until she became their director. She also sang with the Pacific Empire Chorus for a number of years.

She has competed in chorus and quartet competitions at both the Regional and International levels. Over a 10 year period, she sang in two quartets, Swing Shift and Kinetix, and placed first in Region 12 four times, and placed second two times.
